I have entered all my small business info, tried entering the 1099-NEC manually and tried letting it auto-fill, all other items are done correctly but when I finish it just keeps saying that the business section as a whole needs a review, when I open it back up there isn't a single section that asks for review and all numbers are there. It does show my refund and what I owe the state and when I run the review portion it says no errors found but I am reluctant to wrap these up and file since it still keeps saying needs review in green. Please help. I've been trying to figure this out for two weeks. I am using the downloaded and installed version. Should I try deleting it and reinstalling? I have no idea what else to try.

but when I finish it just keeps saying that the business section as a whole needs a review,
What is the exact error message that you are seeing?
Are you referring to the Needs review message seen here or something else?
Are you using TurboTax Premier Desktop or Home & Business?
Please clarify.
Yes, that is the message I see, the green "needs review" for the whole section. I am on the desktop version of the home & business, I purchased the download and installed it.
to clarify, it shows it on the business section...see below
Since you are using the desktop version, select Forms mode. You will see an exclamation mark on this form on the left side. On the form, you will see pink boxes where there are issues. You may be able to answer on the Form or you can switch to step by step and correct the issues.
I already checked the forms, and there is nothing in pink. Also, when you run the error check, it shows zero errors, yet the "needs review" persists. Is it possible this is a glitch that's being worked on?
Can you continue on and submit the filing? It could be a display issue. If that is the case, you should be able to move on and file successfully.
Yes, I have actually completed them, it's just freaking me out that something is wrong and I'm going to file them and then have to amend them because of this.
But have you tried to file? If there really is an error, it will not let you file, but if you can file, it would mean it's just a display issue incorrectly stating you have something that needs review.
Try to transmit your return.
I was afarid to file not realizing it wouldn't if there was an issue. Thank you for the help. I have filed now and I guess that's just a display glitch.
Its happening for multiple users! There's a large thread on it started by .Dude3145
People have sent in diagnostic tests, everything comes back as correct.
When running accuracy check, nothing is flagged, everything is accurate - but we are all still getting the needs review after updating software. I just updated today.
I don't wanna file until it's fixed because if I decide to use Turbo next year, don't want to have an issue transferring things over.
HELP!
Have you tried uninstalling your software, restarting your computer, and installing the software again? If the software is not updating like it should that has made the software update to the latest version.
Thank you fro sharing that thread. I was pretty new here when I posted and had no idea how to look for things in this community.
I went ahead and filed but I am hoping it will get fixed and that I can do an update later. I understand why you're waiting though. Good luck!
I'm having the same trouble! It's so confusing! I don't remember having this much trouble last year!
Yes - the software is updating fine. My Form 3800 was actually updated today Feb 21st from a Do Not File status.
It's not just me or my software, it's a LOT of people. You can see the threads where people are posting about it. Multiple people have run multiple accuracy checks yet are still getting NEEDS REVIEW.
It's a bug in the Home and Business 2024 Turbo Tax software that clearly needs fixing.
