Need to Sign in to TurboTax 2024 with a new Windows UserID (same PC)

Need to Sign in to TurboTax 2024 with a new Windows UserID (same PC).  I have installed and used TurboTax Deluxe 2024 on my PC and used it to input my tax info; however, I am now moving my work to a new Windows account (Windows UserID) on the same PC.  Since TurboTax was already installed on the PC, the Icon to access TurboTax is displayed in the new  Windows UserID desktop; however, when it launches it asks for some registration info...  like it wanted to activate TurboTax (which has already been activated on this PC... under the old Windows UserID)  I hesitated to enter the info, fearing it may un-register TurboTax under my old Windows UserID... which I need to keep until I have got TurboTax operating under the  new  Windows UserID.  Am I safe entering the registratioin data under this  new  Windows UserID... and trust the old  Windows UserID will work until I have transitioned?
