Create a new account with a new user ID. Using an old account that was used for past year joint returns will just give you all kinds of errors; there is too much embedded spouse information in the old account.
Keep a record of how to access the old account in case you ever need to look at it. Returns are saved online for seven years.

Since your current account was used for being married, you will need to create a new account with a new User ID and new email filing as Single.
