Can I stop process and finalize when I am ready?

Yes, as long as you haven't filed the return you can stop where you are and TurboTax will save your progress when you log out. Then when you're ready to finish the return, you can log in and select Take me to my return and select Pickup where I left off to finish the section you are working on and finalize the return.
