My wife works for an international organization and we file taxes jointly and I pay estimated taxes. How do I ensure Social Security payments are made?

@poundsj , for purposes of Social Security and Medicare , you enter her income as Self-Employed -- this will generate a Schedule-C ( Sole Proprietor/Self-Em-ployed ), enter her income but no self-employed expenses/ deductions. This will generate Scheduled-SE for computing Social Security and Medicare -- just as if she was self-employed ( for a total of 15.3 % of most of the net income). That should work.
Do you need more on this ?
