We will answer your question in two parts.

First, you will want to be using TurboTax Deluxe (or above), in order to properly report your wife's foreign income, and then later make a claim for any exclusion of that foreign income from United States taxation.  This exclusion is done through IRS Form 2555 (Foreign Earned Income Exclusion), and is only available in the TurboTax Deluxe, Premier, or Self-Employed (which is also known as Home & Business) versions of the software.

Second, in order to input this Hong Kong wage income, you will want to have your TurboTax program open and be working anywhere on your tax return.  Then you should locate the Find / Search box on your screen.  Next, type in the exact words "foreign earned income" and click the button.  When the Jump To link appears beneath, you can click on that link and you will be taken to the beginning of the foreign earned income interview screen in the TurboTax program.  Please see the attached screen image below for an illustration of this process; simply click the picture to open.

Thank you for asking this important question.
