My wife was few months in US and earned 2570$with occasional jobs and received a couple of unemployment relievers.I filled a separate tax return only for myself,is it ok?

She was here 7 months and now she is back in Italy from last August. If  I have to amend, does it have a cost?

It is okay to file separately. You don't have to amend your tax return to change you filing status and include your wife's income. It is unclear from your question, what kind of income your wife had and if she is required to file her tax return. if her wages you mentioned were self-employment, or the total amount of her income was above $12,400, she must file her own tax return.

Thank you for your answer: my wife worked as a dishwasher in a restaurant only for a couple of months earning a grand total of 2570$.

With earning of $2570, she is not required to file a tax return.  if you did decide to amend there would be no cost to do that.

You generally must file an amended return within three years of the date you filed the original return or within two years after the date you paid the tax, whichever is later.
