Complete the Personal Info section of the program.  When asked if you are married indicate Yes.  Then indicate that you will be including your spouse on the return.  When asked about your spouse's information there are options to select if they passed away during the year.  Check this box and then enter their date of passing.  The TurboTax program will handle what is entered on the return for a deceased spouse.

In the year of a spouse's passing you can file your tax return as Married Filing Jointly.
