HSA are individually owned and joint accounts are not allowed.  A spouse may have privileges where they can use the account to pay for medical expenses. This makes it 'function' like a joint account.

If you are the account owner, answer for yourself. Indicate in the HSA that you have a family plan if your HDHP covers you and your wife/family.

Be certain to indicate that you have a HDHP in this section also. You must have the HDHP to contribute to an HSA. If you omit this step TurboTax will calculate an excess contribution.
