IF you filed together last year too, you just enter the same MFJ -. AGI for both of you...same number.

Newly married couples, or those who filed MFS the prior year, will have different AGI's
Please read the statement, we have filed joint for 56 years and never such a problem.
I have entered our AIG and it will not accept it.
That second part was for other folks who might read this Q&A
1) AGI must be the line 7 of your 2018 form 1040...for the FIRST time you e-filed your 2018 taxes and had it accepted. Not form any later changes you might have made to amend the taxes.
2) If you filed your 2018 taxes late in 2019 on paper, try a zero. Late-Paper-filed tax returns might not be entered in the e-file system for noting the previous year's filing AGI.
3) IF it still fails, you may end up having to mail-paper file this year.
