My w2 shows Kansas not mo?

You did not say which state you live in. You need to pay state taxes to the state you physically work in because Missouri and Kansas do not have a reciprocal agreement.

Most resident states require you to file a state return there even if all your income was earned in another state.  The resident state normally will give you a credit for income taxes paid to the other state where you earned that income.

TurboTax is well equipped to handle this tax situation.  You need to pay close attention the questions you are asked in the personal info section about your residence state and if you earned income in another state.
