My W2 includes stock sales in the earnings. When I enter by 1099B it doubles my income for stock sales? Which is correct?

I have $100,000 in wage earnings, $25,000 in stock earnings. When i enter by 1099B info and then review my summary TT says I have $150,000 in income not $125,000.

Your W2. You need to adjust your basis on the stock sale to create profit of $0, so the cost and the sale price are the same. This will not match your 1099-B, but the W-2 will give the IRS the information they need to properly process your tax return.

It sounds like you're saying that boxes 1d and 1e should be made equal to show a net gain of $0 and that the actual info on the gain will be the info provided on my W2?

If 1d (proceeds) shows $10,000 and the 1e (cost or other basis) shows $6,000 for a gain of $4,000, I should make 1e $10,000 and let the gain be declared from the W2? Numbers are examples only.
