My w2 doesn't include box number 2. It's an electronic generated copy and it doesn't even have an ein number. What do I do.

Can you contact your employer to get a correct, paper copy?

Contact your employer. Either you did not earn enough to have federal tax withheld, or there is some mistake. Find out before you enter that W-2 into your tax return. And...of course you need an EIN.

Are you absolutely sure it is a W-2? Or is it something else---like a 1099 of some kind?
