A valid W-2 does in fact, have a box b that's even labeled "Employer Identification Number (EIN)". YOu may want to double check that on your end. Otherwise, you're not looking at a valid/legal W-2 and would need to contact your employer. They are required by federal law to provide that information, and if mailed to you it's required to be postmarked by Jan 31 or earlier.
Are you really looking at a W-2? Or something else?
