My visa status wasn't asked

Hi I checked the FAQ because I changed from F1 visa to H1b on October 1st and the answer said the forms would ask me this question, but I have completed everything and nowhere did I see a question for visa statuses. Please advise

since when were you on F1?

Since July 2013. I believe I actually need to fill in sprintax this year not turbo tax.

You are still a nonresident alien for 2016, as you do not meet the Substantial Presence Test counting the days for Oct to Dec. You can file with SPrintax, any other software for nonresident returns or fill out the forms yourself.
