My TurboTax returns was $785.00. I also did the same using H&R Block return estimate and my return was $1,267.00. My question is, why such a big disparity or difference?

Hah !   You know darn well that no one can answer that.

You obviously made entries in one that you entered differently, or didn't enter at all in the other.

The only way for you to see what the difference was, would be to print out each tax file and compare them side-by-side  to see what was entered differently, mis-entered, not entered, or double-entered on one software but not on the other.

There's no way for US users to tell whether the mis-entry was on the HRB side, or the TTX side...that's a 50-50 proposition. Only you can investigate that.
