Did you pay the tax due when you filed your federal tax return? The tax due would have been shown on line 37 of your Form 1040. Did you mail a check or money order, or pay by credit or debit card?
TT does not update after your return has been accepted. Your account will always show the result of the return you prepared using the software. TurboTax never knows if you received your refund —or how, when or even if you paid tax due. Your proof that you paid your tax will be your own bank/credit card records.

Your tax return will "ALWAYS" show taxes due. Paying your taxes does not change the bill. If the IRS says you paid and that your outstanding debt is zero, then you're good.
