My taxes were rejected last year 2017 I tried to file 2018 and it sent me an email it was rejected.. is there and issue with me filing

I'm not sure if I can help but I had a problem with my 2017 return. I actually had to go into the IRS office to provide them with proof that I was actually me. They thought it was a fraud because I hadn't filed taxes for many years. I would suggest that you contact the IRS directly.

Your returns are likely being rejected for using incorrect AGI. Did you end up mailing your 2017 return?
Try using "zero" for your 2017 AGI when you e-file your 2018 return. If that does not work, then you have to print, sign and mail 2018.
