Where exactly are you seeing that? And what is the exact term used? Are you referring to what you see in your Online TurboTax account? i.e., is "in progress" the exact term displayed at the Tax Home when you log into your Online account and look at "Return status?" Or are you referring to a message at the IRS "Where's My Refund" tool? https://www.irs.gov/Refunds
If you are referring to the IRS tool, does it say it's still "being processed?"
When you log into your Online account, what is displayed at the Tax Home for "Return status?" If your Online TurboTax account says "in progress", that means the return has not been finished and filed.
When I login and click on take me to my return on the left side it gives options about your account but also show your take return it still says in progress and when I go to the irs website it say that my return isn’t processed yet
I'm still confused. If you log in to your online account, and at the Tax Home there is a "Take me to my return" button still showing, and the Return Status says "in progress", that means a return has not been finished and filed in that account. If you are sure you filed, then maybe you have another account.
Please say exactly what wording you are seeing when you enter your return info at the IRS website.
If that tool finds no evidence of your return, then that's more indication that you haven't filed.
How do you think you filed? By efile or by printing and mailing?
