My tax return has been rejected 3 times now, it is because of the ACA, and I do not know how to edit it. I thought Turbo Tax checked for error but i guess not

They are saying I need form F8962-070 and I did not get one. This form was supposed to be from Marketplace insurance. It is the affordable care act

The Form 8962 Premium Tax Credit can only be completed by the TurboTax software after you enter the Form 1095-A.

 

To enter, edit or delete your Form 1095-A -

  • Click on Federal Taxes (Personal using Home and Business)
  • Click on Deductions and Credits
  • Click on I'll choose what I work on (if shown)
  • Scroll down to Medical
  • On Affordable Care Act (Form 1095-A), click the start or update button

Or enter 1095-a in the Search box located in the upper right of the program screen. Click on Jump to 1095-a

That rejection code is requesting you enter your Form 1095-A.    Our article can help you fix e-file reject F8962-070.

 

First, find your 1095-A form. Forms were mailed out at the end of January. If you don’t have your form, sign in to your HealthCare.gov account and download it. You can also find your marketplace's contact information on the IRS website. (Note: The Affordable Care Act plans go by a variety of names based on your state, such as Covered California, Your Health Idaho, New York State of Health, etc.)

Did you have insurance from the marketplace?   "Obamacare?"  Affordable Care Act?   healthcare.gov?   If so, you have to go to your account at healthcare.gov and get your 1095A to enter.

 

If you did not have health insurance from the marketplace, then you may have answered incorrectly when it asked you about the 1095A.  You should have said NO to that question.

 

So ----which is it ---- did you have insurance from the marketplace -- or not?
