My state return was rejected. Message said I needed an update which should have been done when I sigh in. When i click "fix my return" it doesn't'. Any suggestions?

There are some state returns that get rejected because your information does not match what the state has on record for you when you verify your information.  To fix this error, please follow these steps carefully:

1. Make sure you have entered the previous year's AGI correctly
2. Verify your PIN
3. Make sure to enter all 8 digits (This is not your 5 digit federal PIN)
4. Verify your drivers license or state ID number is entered correctly
5. If it is your first year filing with your state, you will have to enter your Driver's License or state ID information
6. Enter each field exactly as it is on your Drivers License or state ID (First Name, Middle Name, Last Name, Suffix (leave blank if necessary), and weight
7. You may not use an out-of-state or expired drivers license
8. You may need to print and mail your return if the reject continues after re-transmitting

Thanks,checked and did all of that. I then used a different browser to send it and it was accepted. Not a whole lot computer literate but it worked. thanks for the reply
