My state return is on hold from filing waiting for IRS forms. While reviewing I don't see my unemployment income listed anywhere on the return.

Unemployment compensation may not be taxable at the state level where you live (California, Oregon, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia completely exempt unemployment from tax and other states may partially exempt it depending on the amount).
