My state return is not complete yet but is that where my family leave insurance is filed or on the federal return? And if I uploaded my w-2 did it automatically enter it?

All income is entered in the federal section and then the info flows to the state ... always complete the federal section first completely before going to the state tab.

And even if you imported your W-2 make sure you check all of the data that was entered from it.

And….SAVE YOUR OWN W-2! TURBOTAX DOES NOT SAVE IT FOR YOU. TurboTax will not have a copy of it in your account and will not have an image even if you snapped a photo. It is up to you to save it for your own records as stated on the back of the W-2.
