My state return came to the conclusion that I owe over 1,000.00 I think that is incorrect for my income level of 45,000. I have already paid over 1,000 during the year.

If you entered the correct information on your state tax return, then the Turbotax result is correct. If you think that that is incorrect, then you must carefully go back through your state tax return find your data entry errors and correct them.
