In regard to your rejected Maine state tax return, you'll need to post the rejection error code and/or rejection message, and then if someone is familiar with it, they should, hopefully, comment in this thread during the day.
Mine was rejected as well, and I can't for the life of me figure out why. The only thing I can come up with is that the tax rate might have been calculated incorrectly. TurboTax said I was getting a refund while the state of Maine says I owe them money...Nothing drastic has changed since last year.

Did you successfully efile the 2025 Maine state return? When people use the term "rejection" or "rejected" in this forum, they are usually referring to an efile rejection, meaning that can't efile until they fix the reason for the rejection. If you successfully efiled the state return, but the Maine tax agency disagreed with your return and changed it, that's not a "rejection" in the sense used in this forum.
Print out last year's Maine return and the 2025 return and compare them line by line to see if you spot anything significantly different. Then you'll know what topic in the return to investigate further.
Did you get a letter from the state of Maine Revenue Services telling you what they changed in your return and why? If you haven't received one yet, it's possible you will. If you need more info, you can phone and discuss it with them. If you got a letter, it may have a phone number to get more information. Otherwise, see this FAQ, and choose your state and you should be able to find their contact info.
