My state e-file was not ready when I filed my federal return using e-file, and the status says ready to print. Will I be able to e-file the state return once my state is ready to start accepting e-file returns?

I went ahead and filed the federal to get that going, but wanted to just wait and e-file the state return for when it was ready so that I could go ahead and get the federal return as soon as possible.

Yes, when the table below shows them available, you can log back in and submit the return.  

Follow the steps below.

• Login to https://myturbotax.intuit.com/ with the same username
• Click on My TurboTax in the white banner at the top
• Below your 2016 status, click on Add a state under Some things you can do
• Click on the File tab
