My started 2021 return quit unexpectedly and won't reopen. I have already spent two days working on my return, and don't want to start over. How can I restart it?

I shut down the computer and restarted it thinking that might work, but still get nothing to reopen.

If you did not use the "File-> Save" command periodically, you'll have to start again.

If you were using the CD/download software you need to save every time you close out of the program or you lose your progress. Did you save?
