I don't have his old phone for a text reply. I don't have access to his old email account. I don't have the password or PIN number he used last year.

@fayebavera , I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  It is a very difficult time especially when having to deal with all the remaining issues and settlements and being alone at the same time.  I know-- my wife passed in early 2024  and am still in the throes of  settling things and relationships.

 Given your situation and this being the first filing post passing, may I suggest that you employ a tax professional.  This puts everything at an arms length and allows you to focus on all the other and pressing things and  heal.  Of course this is my personal opinion --- only you can judge your actual situation.
