My son's tax return was rejected because we had already claimed him as a dependent, and they are questioning his exemptions. How do we fix and re-file?

He will need to answer yes to the two questions at the beginning of his tax return. The questions are located under the personal information section.

"Someone else can claim me as a dependent on their tax return". 

"And this person will claim me on their 2017 tax return".
