My son paid legal fees for increasing his Parenting time. Are those fee's deductible?

No.  Sorry those are not deductible.  Only legal fees that are related to obtaining taxable income are deductible.

No.  Sorry those are not deductible.  Only legal fees that are related to obtaining taxable income are deductible.

Thanks.  That was what I had read but his lawyers office said to check about the fees being deductible but obviously they were wrong...
