If your son was not a full-time student, then no, you cannot claim him as a dependent. He is too old to be a qualifying child, and earned too much to be a qualifying relative.

If he is age 19 or older, NOT a full time student and has gross income in 2023 of $4,700 or more then no one can claim him as a dependent.
