My son is 23 years old, he was a full time student and worked part time but made over $12k. Can I still claim him as a dependent? What's the maximum amount he can make?

If he was under age 24 in 2016 and a full-time student, you are not subject to the $4050 gross income limit in order to claim him as your dependent for 2016. Once he turns 24--for next year's taxes--even if he is still a student, you cannot claim him if he earns over the limit. ( I think it increases to $4100 for 2017 )
