No, you probably don't want to credit your refund to 2024.

This question is asking if you want to the agency to keep your refund and use it as a payment on your 2024 tax return that you file next year.

Most people want to receive their refund as soon as possible and would answer no.

Sometimes people are afraid their taxes will be much higher next year, so they let the refund be applied to the next year.
