My returns got rejected. one number in social was wrong. I fixed and resent and now it's been 3 days and still pending. I've always had them accepted after the 1st day

Millions of returns have been pending on servers for weeks.  The IRS began to accept/reject returns on Monday January 23.   Have patience and watch your emails.

When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax.  The first one will say that your return was submitted.  The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected.  If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.

TT has no control over when the IRS picks up the return from the holding "pool" and returns an acceptance or rejection ... all you can do is wait.  There is often a lag in the postings.
