My return keeps getting rejected. I am not claiming a child and it continues to ask for an 8862 form.?

If the IRS requires you to fill out  the Form 8862 and you did not include it on your return,you will have to include it on your return even if you aren't claiming a child to be able to e-file your return. See below for instructions on how to find this form in TurboTax:

To find the 8862 in TurboTax:

1. Federal Taxes (Personal if using TurboTax Self Employed or Home and Business)
2. Deductions & Credits
3. You may need to click on Skip to see all tax breaks
4. Scroll down to You and Your Family and click on Show More
5. Earned Income Credit (EIC)
6. Start or update

 Follow the interview questions until you see the screen that asks "Do any of these uncommon situations apply? " Then choose that you need the 8862.
