You are probably not paying for over one-half the cost to maintain the home so you will file as Single.

You would file as single. It is possible that your parents would be able to claim your son, if they paid more than half of the expenses to care for him.  These expenses do include housing costs, utilities, etc.

In order to claim Head of Household, you would have to pay over 50% of the costs of the home.  If you are not paying the mortgage, then that is not likely.
