My parents claimed me as their dependent and now I want to file my own taxes because I have been working. It keeps saying I have been claimed as a dependent and they aren't able to process my tax refund. What do I do?

Change your dependency status in the Personal Info section on your name. Select that someone can claim you as a dependent.
