My parent can claim me as a dependent. I have health insurance through their employers plan on a 1095-C. My return won't file.

It says I need to delete the 1095-A form but can't find a delete option

Delete the Form 1095-A

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen

Click on Tools

Click on Delete a form

Note - There may be multiple pages of your tax return forms and schedules so click on the page number or right arrow (>) shown at the bottom of the federal tax return forms.

Certify in TurboTax Online/Mobile that you don’t have a 1095-A form Follow the instructions below:

1. Open or continue your return.
2. In the left menu, select Federal.
3. Select Deductions and credits summary under Deductions & Credits.
4. Scroll down and select Medical.
5. Next to Health Insurance Marketplace (Form 1095-A) section, select Start/Revisit.
6. Do you need to report any 1095-As? screen.
7. You'll be asked if you received a 1095-A. Select No.

Refer to the TurboTax article How do I fix e-file reject F8962-070? for instructions to fix your return if it’s rejected because the IRS is looking for a 1095-A.

Next, check to see if the 1095-A form is attached to your return. To delete a form in TurboTax Online follow the instructions below:

1. Open TurboTax and your return
2. Select Tax Tools from the menu on the left side
3. Select Tools
4. In the pop-up window select Delete a form
5. Check to see if you see Form 1095-A and Select Delete.
