My deceased husband comes up first on return how to proceed w return as single?

Very sorry for your loss.   You were able to file a joint return for 2023, the year that your spouse passed.   Now with your filing status as Single, you need a new account and user ID.   Using the old account that was used for joint returns will cause all kinds of errors.  It is too difficult to delete the embedded information from a spouse if you use the same account that was used for past joint returns.
