It is asking for nicknames for my husband and I, we don't have one what do I do because it will not let me leave without answering the question.

You can use a shortened version of your name.  TurboTax will ask for this is if your name is too long. Whatever name you use will be fine, it is not used anywhere but inside of TurboTax.
