No, but you can file jointly with your spouse and you each would have your own exemption.

Or you could file a separate return, and claim an exemption for your spouse only if your spouse had no gross income, is not filing a return, and was not the dependent of another taxpayer.

But a spouse is never considered a dependent of another spouse.
