It depends. If your husband is self employed and is NOT the employee of any person or company, then for the income that he receives, that is reported, it will be reported on a 1099MISC form. Any additional income that he receives through his self employment that is NOT reported to him through this form, still needs to be reported on the tax return along with any expenses that he has related to his self employment activities. If you have all the information that you need to accurately report his self employment income and expenses then you are ready to file with respect to your Schedule C.
If your husband is also an employee, then he will receive a W-2 form and you would need to report the information from that form in Turbo Tax in order to file your tax return.
