My husband and I made less than 32,000.00 on social security so it appears we do not have to file a tax form this year

My husband and I made less than 32,000.00 on social security so it appears we do not have to file a tax form this year

If the social security income is the only income you received for the tax year of 2019, you do not need to file. 

If you have received other sources of income besides the social security, you would need to file if meet the following requirements :
