Yes you can keep your account. To change your filing status for this year please follow these instructions:

1. Log into your TurboTax Account and enter your Tax Return through the Timeline
2. When you are at the Welcome Back screen you will notice a Main Tab towards the top of the page. From that tab select and click on Personal Info.
3. Once you have confirmed your Personal Info you will click on Continue and the next page will allow you to update your filing status. When you switch to Single or Head of Household your spouse will be disregarded by the system for filing purposes.
