You cannot both file as Head of Household. To qualify for Head of Household, you have to have at least one qualifying child and must have paid more than half of the costs of keeping up a home in 2017. So both of you cannot satisfy the latter condition for the same year.
Generally, the parent with the higher income will file as Head of Household and the other parent will file as Single.
