Do you live apart? Is she the noncustodial parent? If so, then yes.
If you are the custodial parent, you can use Form 8332 to do the following.
if you are not claiming the children you do not file 8332. however, if your fiance is claiming them if she is the non-custodial parent and you are you must furnish her with the form. if you live together for more than 1/2 the year with the child, then certain other rules apply because you are both custodial parents. the one who can claim
1) since you are not married the one the child lived with the longest (most nights) during the year if this is a tie then
2) the one of you with the highest adjusted gross income
If you are a non-married couple who live together then only one of you can claim the child(ren) and the one not claiming the child does not enter anything at all on their tax return about the child.
