My federal tax return for 2025 was rejected because of an incorrect amount on the 2024 return. IRS said that that entry was used for identification.

I don't have the id number for the rejection. How do I need to amend it. Turbo tax is not helpful.

2025 tax return is REJECTED if you cannot confirm the AGI amount shown your ACCEPTED 2024 tax return.

Note: that's from your originally filed return.

In that case, entering zero sometimes works.
