My federal return was supposed to be $516 as listed on TurboTax and the IRS website, however only $316 was direct deposited in my account. Is it because of TurboTax fees?

Yes if you were having the fees deducted from it. There was also a 39.99 Pay with Refund charge.
Self Employed version is 119.99
State is 44.99
And Pay with Refund is 39.99
TOTAL = 204.97 plus any sales tax.

My daughter was 23 years old in 2025 and a full time college student yet turbotax states that she does not qualify as my dependent. why?
