My Federal return was rejected because I already submitted a free return elsewhere. Can I just submit the State return, or is it a package deal?

Sorry---you cannot submit a state return using TurboTax unless you use TT to successfully e-file a federal return.   You already filed your federal return elsewhere, so, no, you cannot e-file the state.

If the federal return cannot be e-filed then you will have to print and mail the state tax return.
