My federal return seems wrong. Tax due is extremely high
I have heard this concern in the past and have done it myself. Sometimes an extra digit will sneak into an entry if our fingers get carried away. My recommendation would be to find the print preview feature. Review the return looking for amounts outside of their normal range. You might also try reviewing the data entry in the interview.
I hope that helps.
Thanks,
Dirk

My federal return seems wrong. Tax due is extremely high
Unfortunately, I feel the problem is that my retirement funds, which were rolled over into my IRA have been counted as income. I retired. Last year, I paid almost $4,000 in Federal Taxes. This year, TurboTax calculates my Federal tax at over $4,000. I will need to have my return reviewed by a tax accountant as I cannot believe this correct.

I would suggest that you schedule a callback with a TurboTax expert to get this resolved.
The expert will be able to see your TurboTax screens to guide you screen-by-screen and offer advice.
To schedule a call, click on 'Help' in the top of your screen on the right.
Then select 'Contact us'
Then 'Talk to a person'
